  • Meet Tobi the Heart Behind Detsuki

    Hi, I’m Tobi, the founder of Detsuki and a lifelong trading card enthusiast with a special fondness for Snorlax. My love for trading cards started with a simple introduction from my partner, Maru, who shared her passion for Pokémon cards with me. From the moment I held my first card, I was hooked. Over time, I dove deeper into the world of collecting, but one thing always stood out—the frustratingly high prices that made this amazing hobby feel out of reach for so many.

    That’s why I created Detsuki—not just as a store, but as a space where fans, collectors, and newcomers alike can experience the thrill of trading cards without worrying about inflated costs. I believe that collecting should be accessible to everyone, whether you're hunting for your first card or completing a prized collection.

    Hey there, I’m Maru! I'm so excited to be part of the Detsuki team, and I’m here to help make your experience with us as smooth and fun as possible. You might not know it, but I’m the one who introduced Tobi to the world of Pokémon cards — and let me tell you, once he got a taste, he was hooked! It’s been such a fun journey seeing him dive into the collecting world, and I love that we get to share that passion with you.

    Personally, I’m a huge fan of the Eeveelutions. There’s something about their variety and charm that just speaks to me. I also have a soft spot for Bulbasaur; that little green starter always brings a smile to my face. When I’m not geeking out over Pokémon, I’m hard at work ensuring that your orders are packed with care and attention to detail. I take pride in making sure everything arrives just right, so you can enjoy your collection or gifts without a hitch.
