  • Meet Tobi the Heart Behind Detsuki

    Hi, I'm Tobi, founder of Detsuki and lifelong trading card collector with a soft spot for Snorlax. My journey into trading cards began innocently enough, introduced by my partner, Maru, who shared with me her love for Pokémon cards. From that very first card, I was hooked. As time passed, I dug deeper into the world of collecting, but one thing always stood out: the frustratingly high prices that seemed to place this amazing hobby out of reach for so many.

    That is why I started Detsuki-not just as a store but as a platform where fans, collectors, and newbies alike can enjoy the delights of collecting cards without having to pay exorbitant prices. I believe collecting should be accessible to all, from finding that first card to completing a prized collection.

    At Detsuki, it is not just about card sales but building a community of people who enjoy this great hobby. Every product sold and every package sent out is worked on with care and devotion, because I know personally how much pleasure these cards bring.
